Temporary work

This is a good way to begin work in your chosen industry. Once you have registered, we will assign you to a company for the period of time requested by our client.  

We can offer training and preparation support for each contract you take on. After you have been offered temporary work through our company the process is as follows:  

  • We will draw up a contract for you to sign
  • Open receiving a signed contract and your bank details, NI number and P45 or P46, your contract with Workservice will begin
  • We will pay you on an hourly basis upon receipt of your timesheet, one week in arrears.

As an employee of Work Service we will check that your end employer is practicing within legal terms and conditions and is compliant with the law.  

A great advantage of temporary work is that you only have to register with us once, and you will have access to many different contract assignments. If an appropriate job offer is found for you, you will be informed by us. Other benefits include
